Welcome to WALA XVI – Buenos Aires, Argentina, May 20-22, 2026

Every year, the Worldwide Airport Law Association (WALA) holds its AGM conference gathering delegates from more than 40 countries around the world, representing all Continents.

After a great meeting that took place in Curacao in May 2025, our upcoming 16th edition will be taking place in Buenos Aires, kindly hosted by Aeropuertos Argentina.

The conference will feature it’s 3 traditional segments:

Day 1 Wednesday 20 May 2026	Pre Conference Seminar: "Beyond Airline Liability: IATA’s Shared Accountability and the Future of Passenger Compensation"
Day 2 Thursday 21 May 2026	WALA Conference Sessions: "Growth Without Fragmentation. Airport Law Enabling Cohesion in International Civil Aviation"
Day 3 Friday 22 May 2026	UAM: "Between the Low-Altitude Economy and American Drone Dominance: The Role of Law in Shaping UAM"
